Resources

The aim of Scots Education Resources is to develop teachers’ confidence and skill to deliver effective Scots Language lessons. Whether staff are seeking to explore Scots for the first time or already have a strong Scots programme within their teaching practice, the courses are designed to meet the requirements of all teaching professionals.

Courses are tailored to suit the needs of schools, school clusters and local authorities. Scots Education Resources training sessions are informative, engaging and practical. Framed within the principles of A Curriculum for Excellence, SER courses offer a new perspective for teachers at a time when the Scots Language is making a welcome return to the life of Scotland’s schools.
